You need Apotheosis and Skin Graft from Poly to make it work so you can spam Grasp of the Starved, Blood Rain, and Blood Storm repeatedly. However, the source "ultimate" spells that it has can allow it to be a main if spammed. The reality is that Necro isn't really a "main" skill, its a support skill meant to aid other skills. However, if your teammate is going a physical build it might not be too beneficial. Geo might be a good pick for the poison for healing undead, but basically any of them would work. You'll probably want to just pick up some magic as well and find ways to support the fight with that while you get access to the source spells Necro spams. Meaning the weapon you take still isn't all that important. so i will change to a necro/warfare two hander in act two with my undead Not sure what build your ally is going, but if you want to use Necro offensively, you'll likely still want INT. It’s good for act one because you can max out summoning by like level 3 or so and it’ll be as powerful as most summons would be at level 10ish. The thing to realize is that a summoner lone wolf has all these powerful benefits from the lone wolf talent, but fights by summoning a thing that doesn’t have all those benefits itself. Once you get access to the source spells in act two, you can drop summoning for full Necro/Warfare. Max it out immediately, don’t worry about the Necro stuff since Necro really doesn’t have offensive capabilities in the first act. If your teammate is an Aero/Hydro mage, you could use an air staff or wand to electrify stuff for the stun, otherwise just get a stat stick, probably with a shield.Īs said though, if you’re going lone wolf, summoning is only worthwhile early game in the first act. Yeah, what weapons you use on that kind of build really doesn’t matter as there isn’t a physical weapon with INT scaling. ![]()
